Camila’s Bridal Shower

Camila and I met thanks to Pathway Student Support, our job. We met the day of the interviews and it turns out we both got the job! We started being friends once the semester began. Then, a few weeks after, Camila got engaged! Since then, I told her I wanted to plan her Bridal Shower.

I bought some invitations to pass out, created an event on Facebook, planned the games, prepared the food, and decorated the lounge and prepared the Photo Booth.

 

Occasion: Camila is getting married.

Location: Colonial House

Details: Games, light dinner, talks, and Photo Booth.

Communication Summit – Senior Showcase & Internship Fair

The Communication Summit gives an opportunity to BYU-Idaho students to learn more about their future careers. The event happens once every semester. The Communication Summit was divided into three mini events – The reception, the Internship fair, and Senior Showcase.

 

The reception was the opening of the event. It gave an opportunity for the employers of the Internship fair and the Communication seniors to discuss about career goals.

The Internship Fair provided a variety of businesses to interact with BYU-Idaho students. The students could give the employers their resume to have opportunities for internships.

The Senior Showcase is an event that Communication seniors prepare for throughout the semester. They work on a project for over 50 hours that presents an idea of their future career goals.

Kayla’s Bridal Shower

Kayla has been my friend since I was 14 years-old. She recently told me she is getting married and the first thing that came to my mind was to organize a bridal shower for her!

Between her, Erika (another friends,) and I, we are dividing the responsibilities of the event. I am in charge of the fun stuff and the dessert. I want to include some designs I have done for this big day. I will be including some pictures from the shower once the day comes and it will be posted in a different category (The Fun Time – coming soon!)
